The main subject is bigger in size, while the miniature figures portray the subject's importance in his life. For Vijay, the word ‘Maharaja’ invokes the image of a powerful, fabulously wealthy, jeweled and turbaned ruler. He has a strong desire that the persona of the maharaja and maharani do not get erased from our minds. In his art works he has portrayed them as gigantic, very strong and impressive personalities, and with his miniature figures conjure a vision of their magnificence very well.
Vijay has done several groups shows in India and abroad and exhibited his works at various national and international galleries, art fairs and art events.
