Saptarishi Naskar

Saptarishi Naskar was born in 1979. He completed his graduation in 2003 with a Bachelor’s in Visual Art in painting from the Government College of Art and Craft, Kolkata. He received his Master’s in 2005 from Visva Bharati, Shantiniketan.

Over the years he has received several awards including the certificate of Merit from the Government College of Art and Craft in 2002, the ‘Atul Bose’ award by the Government College of Art and Craft in 2003 and a silver medal from the Avantika Regional Art Exhibition.

Saptarishi Naskar’s paintings function in duality celebrating within a geometrical structure moment of nostalgia as well as the present reality. The artist currently lives and works in Noida.
