Lakhan Singh Jat

Lakhan Singh Jat is a visual artist born in 1986 and brought up in Kusany, a village in Rajasthan. After completing BFA and MFA from Rajasthan School of Art, in Jaipur, he started working as a freelance artist.

Childhood memories are deeply imbibed in our mind, heart, and soul, which transform a human being and always reside within us. His paintings and installations are child-centric which portray a world of innocence where dreams are believed and treasured. He always uses forms that carry memories as a part of him which is often a metaphor for his life and transformations around him.

Lakhan has participated in many shows and received many awards. He lives and works out of Jaipur.
