Dileep Sharma

Born in 1974 in Mandawar, Rajasthan, Dileep Sharma completed his MFA in printmaking from Sir J.J School of Art, Bombay in 1998 and BFA in painting from Rajasthan School of Art, Jaipur in 1996. Already proficient and established as a printmaker, Sharma received a British Council scholarship for an Artist Residency at Glasgow print studio in 2001.

He was also the recipient of the Bendre-Husain Scholarship Bombay in 2001 and Scholarship by National Lalit Kala Academy, New Delhi in 2000, was awarded at 4^th & 5^th Kochi International Triennial Exhibition of Prints, Japan in 2002 & 1999; received an Honorable award in the 6^th International Biennial of Print, Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal in 2004; was awarded “ASIA BELT” in the Seoul International print, photo art fair 2008 at Seoul Art Center, Korea. Dileep recently received Senior Fellowship 2019 CCRT, Govt of India.

He has received several National & International Awards and Residencies and has held several National and International Solo shows along with group shows.
