Born in a small village in Pune district, Maharashtra painter, Dinkar Jadhav is inspired by natural beings, particularly, horses and bulls, and the energy that they exude. While on the one hand horses symbolize the undaunting quest of the human being in search of one of the greatest feelings i.e. love; on the other hand, the bull is the symbol of muscularity and virility. Jadhav’s colour palette is bright with self-assurance, and his brush strokes echo the spirit of ‘carpe diem.’

Having been a professional artist since 1994, he has been featured in countless solo and group shows across India. The artist lives and works in Pune.
